  • Preserve original files, recording timestamps and gaps between burst clips.
  • Choose a continuous master and verify recorder-created joins.
  • Review short-clip placement and the beginning and end of long recordings.
  • Resolve uncertain sync before generating or switching cameras.
  • Review shot choice, audio, reframing and the final exported file.

What this checklist can help you decide

Audio-based sync needs recognisable sound shared by the camera and master. Silent clips need another reference. Short clips can match the wrong repeated musical phrase, and a good match at the start of a long recording does not establish that it stays aligned throughout.

Use it with native Premiere or MultiCam

Premiere’s native tools let you prepare and manually switch multicam footage.
